Accessibility Statement
We're committed to making our website and services accessible to everyone.
Last updated: April 2026
Our commitment
Martinsville Urgent Care & Primary Care is committed to providing a website and physical environment that is accessible to people of all abilities. We believe healthcare should be reachable by everyone — both literally and digitally — and we work to make sure our services are usable by people who rely on assistive technologies, have visual or hearing differences, or face other accessibility barriers.
Website accessibility
Our website is designed with the goal of meeting Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. This includes:
- Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements (links, buttons, forms) can be reached and used with a keyboard alone
- Screen reader support — semantic HTML, descriptive alt text on images, and ARIA labels where helpful
- Sufficient color contrast — text and background colors meet contrast minimums for readability
- Resizable text — content remains usable when zoomed up to 200%
- Clear page structure — proper headings and landmarks so users can navigate efficiently
- Mobile-friendly design — fully functional on phones, tablets, and screen readers
In-person accessibility
Our facility at 1044 E. Church Street offers:
- Wheelchair-accessible entrance, reception area, exam rooms, and restrooms
- Accessible parking spaces near the entrance
- Wide doorways and clear pathways throughout
- Examination tables and equipment that accommodate patients with mobility differences
If you need specific accommodations for your visit (such as a sign language interpreter, large-print forms, or extra time), please call us at (276) 634-0010 ahead of your appointment so we can prepare.
Communication assistance
We provide reasonable accommodations to support effective communication, including:
- Written materials in large print upon request
- Coordination with sign language interpreters when scheduled in advance
- Telehealth visits as an alternative to in-person care for many concerns
- Patient companions or care partners welcome at appointments
For patients with limited English proficiency, please let us know what language you prefer and we'll arrange appropriate translation support.
Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time project. We regularly review our website and clinic to identify and address barriers. If you encounter something on our website or in our facility that's hard to use, we want to know — your feedback helps us improve.

Third-party content
Some content on our website (such as embedded maps, payment portals, or downloadable PDFs) is provided by third parties. While we work to ensure all integrations meet accessibility standards, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of every third-party tool. If you encounter a barrier with third-party content, please reach out and we'll help you access the information another way.
