Uninsured?

Self-pay rates, clearly.

We don't think being between insurance should mean you can't see a doctor. We offer flat self-pay rates with no surprise bills — and the price you see at the desk is the price you pay.

Call (276) 403-9070 for current self-pay pricing on common visit types — annual physicals, sick visits, lab work, and more. We'll quote you up front so you can plan.

Self-pay benefits

Why some patients prefer it.

  • No deductible to chase down before coverage kicks in
  • No surprise bills weeks after the visit
  • You know the price before you walk in
  • Quicker check-in — no insurance verification

How billing works

What you'll pay, when.

What's a copay?

A flat fee your insurance plan requires you to pay at the visit. Common amounts are $20-$50 for primary care. We collect this at check-in.

What's a deductible?

The amount you pay out of pocket before insurance starts covering services (other than preventive care, which is usually covered before the deductible). We can check where you stand on your deductible before your visit.

Will my annual physical be covered?

Most insurance plans cover one annual wellness visit per year at 100% — no copay, no deductible. If we identify and address other concerns during the same visit, those parts may be billed separately. We'll explain at check-out.

When will I get a bill?

After your insurance processes the claim — usually 2 to 6 weeks after your visit. The bill shows what your insurance paid, what they applied to your deductible, and what you owe.

Can I set up a payment plan?

Yes. If a balance is more than you can pay at once, call our office and we'll set up a manageable plan. We don't send bills to collections without trying to work with you first.

Where do I pay my bill?

Online at martinsvilleuc.webpay.md, by phone at (276) 403-9070, or in person at the front desk. We accept credit, debit, HSA, FSA, cash, and check.
