What we treat
Built for the everyday emergencies.
Most things that send you searching for "urgent care near me" we can handle right here in Martinsville — quickly, thoroughly, and without the bill that comes with an emergency-room trip.
Colds, flu, allergies & infections
Fever, sore throat, cough, sinus infections, ear pain, urinary tract infections, pink eye, stomach bugs, seasonal allergies — same-day relief with prescription-strength options when OTC isn't cutting it.
Sprains, strains, & broken bones
On-site digital x-ray means we can confirm a fracture, splint a wrist, or wrap an ankle in one visit. We'll refer you to an orthopedist only when you actually need one.
Lacerations & stitches
Cuts that need closing. We do clean repairs with sutures, staples, or skin glue, and we follow up to make sure it heals well.
Digital x-rays
Same-visit imaging for suspected fractures, foreign bodies, and chest concerns. Read on-site so you don't leave without answers. When available — please call to confirm X-ray availability for that day.
Sports, school, & DOT
VHSL sports physicals, school-bus driver physicals, and DOT medical examinations for commercial drivers. Forms completed and signed before you leave.
TDAP & Hepatitis B
TDAP and Hepatitis B vaccinations available on a walk-in basis — no appointment needed.
Pre-employment screening
Fast, accurate drug screens for employers and individuals. We work with HR teams across Henry County and beyond.
I&D, foreign body, toenails
Abscess incision and drainage, foreign body removal, ingrown toenail removal — minor procedures handled in-office.
Telehealth on your schedule
Cold and flu symptoms, sinus infections, UTIs, rashes, medication refills, follow-ups — handled from your couch. Call to schedule.
Not all symptoms qualify for telehealth visits.
Specialty programs
Two programs we're proud to offer.
Beyond walk-in care, we run ongoing programs for two areas where the right medical guidance makes a real difference. Both are physician-supervised and tailored to you.

Common questions
Things people ask.
Do I need an appointment?
No — we welcome walk-ins seven days a week. If you'd like to skip the wait, give us a call at (276) 634-0010 and we'll save you a spot.
What insurance do you accept?
Most major plans are accepted - call us to find out if your plan is accepted. Bring your insurance card. Self-pay rates are available — ask at check-in.
When should I go to the ER instead?
Call 911 or go to the emergency room for chest pain, severe difficulty breathing, signs of a stroke, severe bleeding, head injuries with loss of consciousness, or any condition that feels life-threatening. For everything else, we've probably got you covered.
Can children be seen here?
Yes — we treat children for sick visits, injuries, sports physicals, and vaccinations. Bring an immunization record if you have one.
Will I need to come back for results?
For most things — strep tests, urinalysis, x-rays — you'll have results during your visit. For lab work that takes a day or two, we'll call you with results and any next steps.
Do you offer medical cannabis evaluations?
Yes. We provide evaluations and certifications for the Virginia medical cannabis program. Our providers can evaluate you on site if you have a qualifying condition. Walk in or schedule by calling (276) 634-0010 — happy to answer questions either way.
Do you do medical weight loss / GLP-1?
Yes — through our Medical Weight Management Program. It's medically supervised, with provider visits, lab monitoring, and nutrition coaching. We offer compounded GLP-1 medication (Tirzepatide with Niacinamide) at discounted pricing for patients without coverage. Call to see if you qualify.
How do I pay my bill?
Online at martinsvilleuc.webpay.md, by phone, or in person at the clinic. We accept most credit cards, debit, HSA, and FSA cards.
